Schneider Medilec power points recall

Schneider Electric Australia has become aware of a non-conformance; the Socket Outlet 10mA RCD and Service Panel 10mA RCD may not trip below the correct current limit as defined by Australian Standards.

Whilst the occurrence and the risk to safety of this issue has been assessed as extremely low, given this is a safety product and does not comply with Australian Standards, Schneider has taken the decision to place a voluntary recall for this product. 

Schneider are encouraging contractors, especially those who work in hospitals, to check the points and if they have any concerns to contact their Schneider representative.

Products impacted are:

  • 2025RC10-XX, 2031RC10-XX, 2031VRC10-XX, C2025RC10-XX, ML2025RC10C-BG, ML2025RC10-XX, ML2031RC10-XX, ML2031VRC10-XX

All products as above purchased between 1st July 2017 and 15th October 2020 (inclusive), are potentially affected.

Any product outside of these dates is not affected and no further action is required.
