NECA is seeking to become a national solar regulator

NECA is seeking to become a national solar regulator, which will operate alongside the Clean Energy Council (CEC).  

NECA National has identified the relevant legislation and a business case is being developed.  NECA National will be meeting with the Federal Minister to progress this initiative.  

If successful, NECA National will establish a registry body using the same model as the ACRS which will be able to provide registration for NECA members.  

NECA National will also provide an independent inspector for installations in each state.
