27 February 2023
Did you know that from 1 February 2023, employees of employers with 15 or more employees, can access 10 days of paid family domestic violence leave? This includes part-time and casual employees.
Employees can take this leave if they need to do something to deal with the impact of family and domestic violence. It’s now a minimum leave entitlement added to the National Employment Standards, like annual leave or paid sick and carer's leave.
Employees of businesses with less than 15 employees can access this leave from 1 August 2023.
