NECA is proud to support Tradie HQ, an innovative commercial space in Osborne Park that provides tradies with 24/7 access to a shared workshop, offices, hot desks, meeting rooms, gym and storage options for a low weekly fee.
The founder of Tradie HQ is Dan Bailey, an electrical contractor who started the business after seeing and experiencing the difficulties and loneliness associated with running a business from home.
Dan explains how many people start their own business to improve their work/life balance - but this can be hard to achieve when there are no physical boundaries between work and home. "Tradie HQ helps to define those boundaries by providing a place where you can get prepped in the morning, drop into during the day or stop past on the way home to arrange invoicing, quoting, pre-fab work or just to clear your emails, so that when you are home - you’re home" says Dan.
Tradie HQ is more than just a co-working space for trade-based businesses. As Dan describes "It's a community. At Tradie HQ businesses can support and connect with one another on site or at our regular events. This is especially important for one man bands and businesses with only a few employees on the tools. They are reminded that they aren't alone, there are other businesses facing the same challenges."
We encourage all members to check out the impressive facilities in person and get a feel for what Tradie HQ is all about. Click here to book a guided tour - there are even spots available on the weekend.
NECA Members currently have access to a gold Tradie membership for only $88/week (normally $110). This includes 24/7 access to the entire facility and no lock in contract. Find out more at www.TradieHQ.com.au.
