Automatic Mutual Recognition of electrical workers licences delayed in WA
As a result of lobbying efforts made to the WA Government by NECA WA, the implementation of Automatic Mutual Recognition (AMR) of electrical licences has been delayed in Western Australia for three years.
This was because of our concerns that the requirements for gaining an electrical workers’ licence in other states and territories are not as robust as those in WA. We will use this time to advocate for consistency to the different licensing requirements across the country.
