Become a NECA WA member to access the Technical Hotline!

The highly skilled technical team are available to take member calls via the Technical Hotline between 7:30am and 5:00pm WST, Monday to Friday. 

The Technical Hotline is a free* service for all NECA WA members, providing an easy way for electrical contracting businesses to access prompt technical assistance when required. 

What sort of queries can our Technical team help with?

Every year, the Technical team responds to thousands of member emails and phone calls, providing essential and timely advice to the WA electrical industry. Common queries include:

  • Meter panel configurations
  • Zoning and damp situations
  • Maximum demand and volt drop
  • Switchboard locations

For queries outside of the Hotline open hours, our Technical Knowledge Base (TKB) is available 24/7!

TKB allows members to search Standards, WAER, WASIR, EnergySafety Energy Bulletins, technical updates and more – all from your smart device or computer.

NECA WA is a separate entity to ECA WA Inc and operates under a Service Level Agreement where ECA WA Inc provides technical and safety services to members on NECA WA’s behalf. All members of NECA WA automatically receive ECA WA membership at time of joining.
